In 1991 the Big City Diner in Manhattan was the birth of the now infamous Tuesday Night “Funk Hut” Parties. Gramma Funk, The Funk Hostess Wit Da Mostess created a home for signed and unsigned acts and artists to display their talents, network with one another, and chow down at Gramma Funk's Kitchen. This is also where my career as a self-taught female Celebrity Hip-Hop photographer began.
In 2000 Gramma Funk would record, perform, and write her first Gold, Silver & Platinum Single the now infamous dance hit "I See You Baby Shaking Dat Ass" with London DJ's Groove Armada, where she was discovered while living in Ibiza, Spain.
